WELCOME TO ST PETER'S CHURCH!

Update on the latest government restrictions

Under the latest restrictions announced by the Government that are due to come into force on Thursday 5 November, no public worship can take place in churches until 2 December 2020. Thankfully, churches can stay open for individual prayer, and St Peter’s will continue to be open every day between 10am and 3.30pm. In addition, the lights of the Colte Chapel will be switched on for an hour every evening, as a symbol of the light of Christ shining in our community.

Services are going to continue online and by phone.  See the Worship page above for information about and all of St Peter's services.

If you have any further questions, or if you need any help, do get in touch.

We are a friendly church at the centre of Roydon.

We have a variety of services, social groups and events.

Whether you live locally or are just visiting, we welcome you!

See the Worship Page above for information about all of St Peter's services.

Risen Christ,

For whom no door is locked, no entrance barred:

Open the doors of our hearts,

That we may seek the good of others

And walk the joyful road of sacrifice and peace,

To the praise of God the Father.

Amen.

Thank you key workers

The church is also now open each day from 10 am to 3.30 pm for individual prayer.

St. Peter’s has been made ready for you; it has been thoroughly deep cleaned and there are several areas set out for prayer and quiet meditation, so that everyone can socially distance. We hope you will find St Peter's a very safe and peaceful place in which to pray. If you are shielding and would like to visit the church privately, please contact Jess or Helen.
