Prayer
St Peter’s continues to be open every day for individual prayer between 10 am and 3.30 pm.
The church has been made ready for you; it has been thoroughly deep cleaned and there are several areas set out for prayer and quiet meditation, and some texts, prayers and images for you to ponder.
We hope you will find St Peter's a welcoming, safe and peaceful place in which to pray. If you are shielding and would like to visit the church privately, please contact Jess or Helen.
We also hope that the lights shining from the Colte Chapel windows each evening will be a blessing for everyone. They symbolise the light of Jesus shining in our community.

Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will hear you. - Jeremiah 29: 12.
And whatever you ask in prayer you will receive, if you have Faith. - Matthew 21: 22.
Lord God,
We thank you for all that is good in our lives.
Keep us hopeful.
May we have confidence that a new day will come,
when all our days will be filled with goodness again.
Amen.
Risen Christ,
For whom no door is locked, no entrance barred:
Open the doors of our hearts,
That we may seek the good of others
And walk the joyful road of sacrifice and peace,
To the praise of God the Father.
Amen.
