Congratulations to Chris and Sarah Speller on the birth of their fourth child, Joshua Luke. Joshua, who is a seventh grandchild for Chris and Robert Findlay, weighed 9 lb 4 oz at birth.
We have some wonderful news this week: the Rev’d Collins Onyango Nyawade, emailed to let us know that his daughter Mathilde is out of hospital and making a good recovery from malaria. He also asked us here at St Peter’s to pray for Kenya as voting in elections has started, and there is a fear of violence.We are delighted that Mathilde is recovering wel. We will keep the whole family in our prayers.
If you would like to leave a prayer for someone there is a prayer board in church and there is also a book to record prayers in the porch.

On Saturday 14th October at 7:30pm, there will be a concert given in church by De Merc chamber choir. This will be a fund raiser for St Peter’s, so please make a note in your diaries. Further details will be given in due course, when the programme is known, and tickets will be available for purchase.

Coffee Mornings are held each Tuesday morning 10 – 12 in the church hall, kindly organized by Paul Gillingham – Lively chat and music too! Do come along - a drink, home made cake and good conversation for a voluntary donation of only £1.50!

Senior Citizens lunch club: The club meets on the first Wednesday of the month at the New Inn
